Welcome to Decadent Detailing. By booking any of our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are designed to protect both our customers and our business while ensuring a professional and transparent experience.

 

  1. Bookings & Deposits
  • All bookings require a non-refundable deposit to secure your appointment.
  • Deposits are transferable to a new appointment date provided sufficient notice is given in accordance with our cancellation policy.
  • Your booking is not confirmed until the required deposit has been received.

 

  1. Cancellation & Rescheduling
  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment will incur a charge equal to 50% of the total booking value, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Deposits remain non-refundable but may be transferred to a future booking at our discretion.

 

  1. Service Area & Customer Information

If you are unsure whether we cover your location, please contact us before making a booking.

Failure to confirm your location before booking may result in the loss of your deposit and any associated payments.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact details and the correct service address at the time of booking.

If incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information is provided and we are unable to contact you or confirm the appointment details:

  • Your deposit and any payments made will be non-refundable.
  • We reserve the right to cancel the appointment.
  • We reserve the right to refuse to rebook the service.

 

  1. Vehicle Inspection & Pre-Existing Conditions
  • We will inspect your vehicle to the best of our ability prior to commencing any work and will highlight any visible defects, damage, or areas of concern.
  • Customers are responsible for informing us of any known issues, previous repairs, paint defects, damaged trim, or electrical faults.
  • Decadent Detailing cannot be held responsible for issues arising from pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or defects not disclosed prior to the service.

 

  1. Additional Charges

Additional charges may apply where a vehicle requires significantly more time and labour than anticipated, including but not limited to:

  • Excessive pet hair
  • Heavy soiling
  • Mould contamination
  • Biohazard contamination
  • Excessive mud, sand, or debris

If a surcharge is necessary, you will be informed and approval will be obtained before any additional work is carried out.

 

  1. Paint Correction & Ceramic Coating Services

Paint Correction

Paint correction and machine polishing involve the controlled removal of a small amount of clear coat. While every effort is made to work safely and professionally, Decadent Detailing cannot be held responsible for issues arising from:

  • Thin paint or clear coat
  • Previous poor-quality repairs
  • Resprayed panels
  • Lacquer failure
  • Hidden defects

Ceramic Coating

  • Ceramic coating appointments are weather dependent and may be rescheduled if conditions are unsuitable.
  • Durability and performance claims are based on proper aftercare and maintenance.
  • Our workmanship guarantee on ceramic coatings is valid only where Decadent Detailing carries out ongoing maintenance washes every 8 to 12 weeks.
  • Failure to maintain the vehicle with us at the recommended intervals or to follow our aftercare guidance may void any guarantee.

Results for both paint correction and ceramic coating services will vary depending on the condition, age, and history of the vehicle.

 

  1. Results Disclaimer

While we strive to achieve the best possible results, we cannot guarantee the complete removal of all scratches, stains, odours, or defects.

Results will vary depending on the vehicle’s age, condition, and maintenance history.

 

  1. Customer Inspection & Acceptance of Work

Customers must inspect the vehicle upon completion of the service and before we leave the premises.

Any concerns or areas requiring further attention must be raised at that time.

Once the service has been accepted and we have departed, the work will be deemed satisfactory and accepted.

 

  1. Mobile Detailing Requirements

For mobile appointments, customers must provide:

  • Safe and legal access to the vehicle
  • Adequate working space
  • Access to water and electricity, unless otherwise agreed

If these requirements are not met, we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel the appointment, and charges may apply.

 

  1. Customer Availability & Access

If we arrive at the scheduled appointment and are unable to access the vehicle or begin work due to customer absence, delay, or lack of access:

  • The appointment may be cancelled.
  • The deposit will be forfeited.
  • Additional charges may apply.
  • We reserve the right to refuse future bookings.

 

  1. Payment Terms

Full payment is due immediately upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We accept payment by cash, bank transfer, and approved electronic payment methods.

 

  1. Photography & Marketing

We may photograph or video your vehicle for quality control and marketing purposes.

If you do not consent to your vehicle being photographed, please notify us in writing before your appointment.

 

  1. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if:

  • The vehicle is unsafe to work on.
  • Working conditions are unsuitable.
  • The requested service presents a risk of damage.
  • The customer behaves in an abusive, threatening, or unreasonable manner.

 

 

  1. Limitation of Liability

Decadent Detailing carries appropriate business insurance.

Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage.

 

  1. Privacy

Any personal information collected during the booking process will be used solely for the purpose of providing our services and managing customer relationships.

We do not sell or share your information with third parties except where required by law.

 

  1. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

 

  1. Changes to These Terms

Decadent Detailing reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
